What is a Catalytic Converter?
Catalytic Converter: “Its an exhaust emission control system that controls the toxic engine gases into less toxic gases, used in a vehicle that are gas or diesel-powered”.
Bonnici, David, et al. “What Is a Catalytic Converter?” WhichCar, www.whichcar.com.au/car-advice/what-is-a-catalytic-converter.
The catalytic converter was designed in France in the 19th century when only a few cars were on the roads. The widespread introduction of catalytic converters was in the United State automotive market by the Environmental Protection Agency which strictly controls exhaust emissions to prevent any more damage to our environment. All vehicles starting from 1975 must be equipped with catalytic converter. Catalytic converters are not only standard on cars but there also common on buses, trucks, forklifts, catalytic converter, motorcycles and sometimes wood stoves to control emission. They play a big role in our vehicles and making sure our environment is not damaged. We at Brc Automotive make sure all of our vehicles are equipped with catalytic converters.
