There are two things spoiler are intended to do either make the car look cooler or actually help the performance of the vehicle. A spoiler is designed to spoil unfavorable air movement across a body of a vehicle in motion, in other words use the air that doesn't do much and guide it to work for you. There are different kinds of spoilers front ones are called air dams. This feature is designed for race cars to improve traction and make the car look cool as well.
