Manual Transmission: “Manual transmission is a type of transmission in which the gears are changed by a lever-operated by the driver of a vehicle. A five-speed manual transmission is standard on both engines. The car is available in automatic and manual transmission.”

 

Automatic Transmission: “a system in a vehicle that changes gears at different speeds without direct control by the driver.”

Manual Transmission

  • Many drivers find manual cars fun to drive.

  • You can get better gas mileage in some cases.

  • Usually mostly in sports cars.

  • Sometimes the price is cheaper because it’s not desired by many drivers.

  • Less likely to be stolen because not many people can drive manual.

Automatic Transmission

  • Easier to use because you don’t have to worry about always switching gears.

  • Better in hilly areas because you don't roll back like on manual transmissions.

  • When stopped at a light low risk of stalling and having people honk in the back.

  • Easier in heavy traffic due to not having to press the clutch.

  • Used in driving schools because it’s easier than a manual.
